Air + Style Announce Insane Lineup
Sure there’s been lots of music festivals announcing their line-ups this week, from Coachella to Governor’s Ball to anything that ends in –palooza, but do any of those festivals have snowboarding and skiing showcases? Thought not. That honor belongs exclusively to Air + Style, an event that will be making its’ California debut this February.
Air + Style has been a landmark event for the winter sports community, but this year may be the first to have a killer lineup of fantastic musicians. Gracing the stage this year will be huge headliners like Kendrick Lamar, Diplo, and Steve Aoki, as well as the truly phenomenal talents of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Phantogram, Sleigh Bells, Portugal. The Man, Cults, and snowboarding living legend Shaun White’s own band Bad Things to name just a handful.
Initially conceived in Innsbruck by Charly Weger and Andrew Hourmont, Air + Style has become a globe-hopping spectacle of all things snowboarding. After wrapping up recent showcases in Beijing and Innsbruck, the upcoming Los Angeles show is the first of its kind. Under the direction courtesy of Shaun White, the event will feature over thirty winter sports and 18 bands at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl, where they have also constructed a 450 foot tall snowboarding ramp. Have we sold you yet? Go and grab tickets here while you still can!
