Coachella: Day 3
So much happened on our third day that I literally don’t even know where to start.
Like always, the morning rushed by in a blur, and for a second day a pool party followed it, which is a trend I’d like to get used to. Then drinking. Then the festival. The drinking more.
So it went.
I can’t lie, I was so exhausted that I didn’t think anything outside of three days on a beach could revive me, but then suddenly, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg got on stage and turned everything around.
When I first noticed the duo were scheduled to play the festival, I told my friends that what really interested me was who they would end up bringing with them. DMX, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and Kurupt were all amazing, but the craziest part was when Tupac Shakur showed up from beyond the grave to spit some rhymes before going back to heaven in an explosion full of glitter.
Have to admit, I didn’t see that coming. I hoped a channeled incarnation of Eazy-E was going to pop up, but apparently I’ll have to wait until next year.
Long story short, Dre and Snoop’s performance brought down the house. For everybody attending the first weekend of Coachella, it was pretty much the coolest way you could say goodbye.
