MADE fashion week has begun a new adventure that starts today in Paris. As all the French luxury brands prepare to present the biggest runway shows on earth, MADE continues its valued formula of supporting new and emerging designers. In Paris, seven talents from the official fashion week calendar will be supported: Gareth Pugh, Anthony Vaccarello, Julien David, Olympia LeTan, Damir Doma, Veronique Branquinho and jewelry designer, Ligia Dias.

These seven designers will show collections on the catwalk or via presentations, we’ll publish daily reports beginning today with Anthony Vaccarello (2012 ANDAM award winner) and the return of Veronique Branquinho.

To celebrate its launch in Paris, MADE has organised a dinner at Les Deux Magots restaurant co-hosted by top ranking French fashion editor, Virginie Mouzat, art director Marc Ascoli, actress Léa Seydoux and publisher Jonathan Wingfield. At the dinner each of the 100 guests will be presented with an HTC mobile phone designed by New York based designers, Cushnie et Ochs. MADE will also be hosting after parties for Gareth Pugh, Calla plus what is becoming the big, underground blow out of the women’s wear season, our New York New York party. More details will follow over the course of the coming eight days.

MADE founder Jenne Lombardo has partnered with W Paris – Opéra, HTC and WGSN to continue the kind of structural support that has helped names such as Proenza Schouler, Alexander Wang, Jeremy Scott and Joseph Altuzarra in New York. This is just the beginning, join us for the ride!
