CHARRED CINDERS, GARETH PUGH'S ARISTOCRAT IN FLAMES
"The whole idea behind the look is quite an aristocratic woman who has started off the evening in a ballgown in a chateau, and then it gets burnt down by the revolution. We started everyone off by doing a perfect smokey eye then I’ve come in and broken it down by adding soot and the elements to it, fire and ice. Ice comes via the foundation that’s a beautiful iridescent called Strobe which adds a bluer sheen, gives that coldness. And then the fire by the charred lips where it looks like the smoke is coming out from the inside," – Alex Box for MAC cosmetics.
