Going for a Victorian feel, Milanese fashion designer Dusan created an enchanting, giant structure made of wood specially charred for three weeks that was erected inside a salon inside Hotel Salomon de Rothschild. The whole room was filled with the gentle, pervading smell of grounding wood that emanated from the structure. Peering through the wooden posts, buyers and press could gaze at the capsule collection that was inspired by Victoriana. Dresses were long and layered with jackets and military inspirations appeared throughout. Dusan mixed masculine and feminine, not only via cut but also textures; jacquard was mixed with pinstripe flannel, mixed with velvet and fur.
