2007 marked the ten-year anniversary of the Jeremy Scott brand. Scott’s career began in Paris where he debuted his first runway collection in 1997. His collection brought him international fashion recognition, and a Venus de la Mode Award win for “Best Designer of the Year” in both 1996 and 1997. By 1999, Scott was recognized by the CFDA and was nominated for “Best Young Designer.” He was quickly becoming one to watch in the fashion arena and was nominated by The Face Magazine as one of the 100 most powerful people in fashion.
Jeremy’s finger is constantly on the pulse of pop culture. Throughout the last ten years, Jeremy Scott, has focused his energies on the world of collaborations. An artist at heart, Scott has infused an energy and brand excitement on all projects.
Scott worked as photographer for shoots for I- D, Dazed and Confused, Dutch, Flaunt, Paper, Self Service, Missbehave, Dazed Japan, and Commons and Sense. The designer shot cover of Paper Magazine with Lindsay Lohan, the cover of Les Inrockuptibles with Jeremy Scott and MIA, cover of i- D with Jeremy Scott and Devon Aoki and also published a photography book in the Spring 2006 documenting Sexybition Presentation with Deitch Gallery.
Jeremy Scott and his collaborations are available internationally at Opening Ceremony and Barney’s in New York, Colette in Paris, Selfridges in London, Wood Wood in Berlin, Joyce, Dmop and Bauhus in Hong Kong, Isetan, Bambi + Faline, Midwest and Factory in Japan.
