Get excited, music-heads. New York City-based photographer Lyle Owerko has just released his photo essay book entitled, The Boombox Project. The boombox is an undeniable artifact of New York’s culture. Its presence was identified with the uprising of various parts of urban culture and was carried through the subways on the shoulders of break dancers and graffiti artists alike.
