RUNWAY REVIEW: ANTHONY VACCARELLO SS14
Spring – Summer 2014 Anthony Vaccarello ladies were sexy, slick and chic. With their hair pushed back in long and straight curtains and their inventive triangular-shaped eyeliner, the models walked out to Janis Joplin’s "Summertime" in cut-out black mini-dresses, bare shoulders, draped lace, mesh covered flat stomachs, tie-dye bleached denim micro-skirts and one extravagant red leather dress with longer sleeves. Most if not all the clothes had large cabochon stud-like buttons either as details or nearly all over the garments, which gave the collection unity and once again, more sexiness than ever. Many of Vaccarello’s mini-dresses were cut with a triangular-shaped hem in the front, which made the models’ legs look even longer than they already were.
