PIECE D’ANARCHIVE AT THE PALAIS DE TOKYO

In the Palais de Tokyo’s dark basement, around Jean-Pierre Raynaud’s 64 stainless-steel buckets filled with rubble and in front of a giant screen (playing Tiffany Godoy’s film made for the brand) hung Deborah and Priscilla Royer’s Spring – Summer 2014 Piece d’Anarchive collection: black and white checkered tees, black and white checkered trousers held up with suspenders, black and white checkered platformed Nikes, bandanas… Sporty knitwear and over-sized mesh trousers gave way to “futuristic” black and white minimalism with a nod to ’80s cool.
