Bunnywith an Art Show: The Latest From Alex Pardee
Artistic hero Alex Pardee has done it again. His latest exhibition at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles has brought back to life his old character Bunnywith in a plethora of new pieces all sold for the Walmart-ly low price of $10 a pop. Each piece shows Bunnywith experiencing different scenarios that are 90% of the time deadly and 100% of the time ridiculous.
My personal favorite: Bunnywith Magical Ability To Vomit Bees On Command
Besides launching a scavenger hunt for prizes via his instagram, Alex got his massive crowd of young art collectors into the action by holding a Bunnywith-inspired costume contest whose winner received a one-of-a-kind drawing by the artist. All of this combined into enough buzz to create a line outside the gallery that Walt Disney himself wouldn’t have asked people to wait in (we’ve heard rumors that the wait got as long as 3 hours!).
If you weren’t able to make it out for the best opening reception ever, you’ve got until November 9 to check out Alex Pardee’s Bunnywith exhibition at Gallery 1988.
Or, if you want, you can always buy a print online by going here.
Thanks to one of Milk Made’s favorite photographers in existence, Chloe Rice, for sending us these shots from the show.
