Wavelength

Wave·length (wvlngkth, -lngth, -lnth)
n. Abbr. WL:
The distance between one peak or crest of a wave of light, heat, or other energy and the next corresponding peak or crest.

This box of tuning forks is brought to you by Velem of Milk Studios. Each tuning fork carries a unique purpose, from tuning a piano to alternative medicine modalities such as sonopuncture and polarity therapy. As you would tune a piano, your body can be callibrated to achieve optimal physical balance—tapping two tuning forks will instantaneously alter your body’s biochemistry and bring your nervous system, muscle tone and organs into harmonic balance. Within seconds, your body will enter a deep state of relaxation.

Scientists and musicians have used tuning forks for hundreds of years. Their unique construction allows each fork to project a pure tone at a constant pitch, and this set comes in a handcrafted box from Walnut and features 3-D inserts printed with a nylon composite. The booklet, which slots neatly behind the forks, is a collection of vintage scientific images of sound waves and tuning forks. At Velem, we believe that all creatives depend on the quality of their tools in order to realize their goals.

Welcome to the future.
