Global Citizen Takes Over Central Park
On Saturday, a crowd nearing 60,000 people witnessed world leaders join Top 40 chart climbers to celebrate a generation with the potential to end global poverty by 2030 at the Global Citizen Festival. In true Only-in-New-York fashion, guests heard from political officials like India’s prime minister Nerendra Modi between sets from The Roots and No Doubt. Concert-goers that made it until the end of the night where during Jay Z’s set they were also treated to an appearance by the Queen herself: Beyoncé.
