A Holiday Party to End All Holiday Parties
For this year’s holiday party, Milk New York took the phrase ‘go big or go home’ to the next level. Taking over the gargantuan warehouse space that is home to the Brooklyn Night Bazaar, Milk’s family and friends crowded in for the season’s best holiday rave that literally had something for everybody.
Ever want to eat Korean tacos while playing mini golf? Check. Pose in Christmas themed photos with life sized blow up nutcrackers? Yep. Alternate between getting your freak on on the dance floor and getting your freak on in virtual reality snowboarding arcade games? That was there too. Not to mention a drive-in movie station, DDR dance offs, wood fired pizzas, air hockey tables, and Jamie Burke and David Katz on DJ duties.
But of course it is the holiday season, and that means doing more than treating yourself on the daily. As guests – such as Joan Smalls, Jacqueline Jablonski, Harif Guzman and 1000 other revellers – walked in they were not only greeted by an enormous floor to ceiling Christmas tree, but said tree was surrounded by children’s toys. As entry into the party each guest was asked to bring a toy as a donation for Toys for Tots, providing a present for those not lucky enough to receive a gift this year.
It was a party that was so wild that they couldn’t shut us down, even over an hour after closing time. Words don’t really do it justice, so check out our photo gallery of the evening to re-live or live vicariously through the holiday cheer. Happy Holidays Everyone!
