$5 Million for Wu Tang Album? If you're Lucky
How much would you pay for a one-of-a-kind Wu-Tang Clan album? Hundreds? Thousands? Millions? If the later option rings well with you then I’m sorry to say you’re gonna have some competition. Although not much is known about the hip-hop crew’s new album, Once Upon a Time In Shaolin, we do know this much: there will be a sole copy created and somebody already offered $5 million for it.
But there is still hope to buy it (for some fortunate souls), as the clan, rather than accept the 5 mill offer, saw this as inspiration to try a different sale approach: an auction. However there is yet another catch (naturally!) as the auction, held by Paddle8, will be private, so if you’ve got a few million to spare and a guardian angel beaming luck onto you, then feel free to email the site and try your best. Wu Tang Clan really ain’t nothing to fuck with.
As for the rest of us, relish in the sweet, sweet fact that the album lies locked inside an engraved silver box inside of a vault below the Atlas Mountains in Marrakech, while Enter The Wu-Tang is available for free on Spotify. Whatever.
