Good news: A Joint A day Keeps the Doctor Away
If you needed one more reason to validate your stonerism here it is: Emory University has just released a study that suggests smoking weed has no effect on a person’s lung functions. However, don’t get greedy – the study shows results for people who smoked one joint a day for 20 years.
Scientists measured the capacity of exhalation, or spirometry, in participants from 18 to 49 years old and saw that the results between non-weed smokers and joint-a-day-to-keep-the-doctor-away smokers were barely noticeable. If you want a detailed and run through analysis, the study will be published in the Annals of the American Thoracic Society. But if we imagine correctly you probably stopped reading after the first sentence and started rolling a joint.
So crush it up, roll it up, and take a nice long hit.
