DJ Questlove and Kid Sister Tear Up Milk Made Party
You know you had a successful night when your feet are sore from dancing and the only thoughts racing through your mind are song lyrics, but really the music at Milk Made’s party at Up & Down was that good. Chapman warmed up the crowd – which included Milk family and friends such as Kitty Kash, Hari Nef and Bosco – with the best 90s/00s throwbacks, like Nelly, Christina Milian, and even Brit Brit sharing the woes of fame with “Lucky.” Questlove, who looked super dapper in a blazer and shades, took over the booth next and made medleys of more throwbacks, including Kanye West’s “We Major.” Kid Sister joined him in the booth towards the end of the night for a stellar performance of a few of her songs, including “Higher,” the first single off of her new mixtape DUSK2DAWN: The Diary of Jane Jupiter. The performance was lively and intimate, as all guests gravitated towards the booth to keep on dancing.
In the immortal words of Yeezy: sunglasses and Advil, last night was mad real.
