Giorgio Moroder Is Working On Gaga's New Album
Confirmed. Lady Gaga’s fourth studio album is going to be a party starter, as legendary disco Italian producer Giorgio Moroder has seized the reigns. Known for producing Donna Summers’ countless hits, being the founder of Musicland Studios in Munich where Elton John, Led Zepplin, and Queen used to frequent, and working on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories back in 2013, Moroder’s long-time dedication to music should help reinstate Gaga’s pop authority. Let’s face it, within the last year she kind of just fell off, as the world awaits another album like The Fame Monster. So sit tight guys, cause it might be on it’s way.
Giorgio’s already got five or six tracks in mind for Gaga, but the album as a whole hasn’t been sorted out just yet, in an interview with Popjustice Moroder says, ‘I’m going to be surprised, I think – I don’t have a clue about the way she’s recording. Will she play the piano? Will I?’
The Mother Monster’s project isn’t the only thing Giorgio Moroder’s got going on. Giorgio is set to release his first solo album in over 30 years, featuring an arsenal of artists such as Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Foxes, Charlie XCX, Sia, and possibly Lady Gaga herself. As for Gaga’s album, the complete details have yet to surface, but she has been seen in the studio with Nile Rodgers and long-time contributor RedOne. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for this pop-charged album titled 74 Is The New 24 this coming spring.
