Jeremy Scott is making a documentary
As if Moschino FW15 and Jeremy Scott’s own FW15 show (which will be covered by us for Made Fashion Week) weren’t enough to be crazy excited about, we now will have a Jeremy Scott documentary to look forward to.
Just yesterday he posted a photo of himself on Instagram holding a clapboard with the caption: “EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE BEEN FILMING A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT MY LIFE AND WORK OVER THE PAST YEAR WHICH WILL BE RELEASED IN THEATERS LATER THIS YEAR. MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW SOON.” All-caps is totally necessary for this announcement because THIS IS AWESOME. We can probably guess at a few of his muses that’ll make appearances in the film, but we definitely have one confirmed guest: CL from the South Korean pop group, 2NE1. Scott also posted a behind-the-scenes shot with her on his Instagram.
This past year has been huge for the Kansas City-born designer. He slayed at fashion week, had a book published by Rizzoli, threw the dreamiest Barbie-themed party at Art Basel, and totally killed it with his costume designs for Katy Perry’s Super Bowl half-time performance, amongst so many other ventures. Stay tuned for more details.
