Three MADE Designers Shortlisted for LVMH Prize

After absolutely crushing it at MADE Fashion Week FW15, we are proud and excited to share that three of our designers have been shortlisted for the LVMH Prize for young fashion designers. Though only founded in 2013, it is a highly competitive and prestigious award, which this year may go to Baja East, Astrid Andersen, or Devon Halfnight Leflufy.

The goal of the LVMH Prize is to assist young designers under 40 with the expansion of their brand, helped in party by a grant of 300,000 Euros and a 12-month period of financial and technical support. The jury for the selection of this prize is literally presided over by the industry’s titans in creative direction: a group that consists of Karl Lagerfeld, Raf Simmons, Marc Jacobs, Ricardo Tisci, and Phoebe Philo among others. Last year’s winner was Thomas Tait, with Hood by Air‘s Shayne Oliver coming in as a runner up.

We wish the best for our three designers shortlisted for the prize, and we’re not at all surprised that their innovation, artistry, and sheer quality in their designs is being recognized by the entire fashion industry as a whole. Best of luck!
