Cat Island Is your next Vacation Spot
To some this will be the best news you’ll ever hear, to others it will be a living nightmare. Welcome to Aoshima, Japan, more popularly known as Cat Island – where the cats roam free and outnumber humans at a ratio of 6 to 1.
It all sounds like a Kurt Vonnegut novel, but in actual fact the cats’ first migration to the Japanese island was so they could take care of a mice problem. A problem which has ironically enough turned tables, as most of the permanent residents of the island now view these furry friends as pests themselves. However these cats don’t seem bothered by the residents, making it clear that they have bigger plans in mind, like taking over the world perhaps?
