Rihanna To Make Bob Dylan Style Documentary
Badgalriri might’ve started off as a sweet young singer from Barbados but as everyone who hasn’t been living under a rock well knows, RiRi has ascended to total superstardom. Case in point? Not only is she one of the best selling artists of all time, but some of her other accolades include creative directing for River Island and, more recently, Puma, becoming an awarded fashion force, starring in covers of basically every magazine ever, and even acting in major films, like Battleship and the upcoming Dreamworks animated film Home. So it’s no surprise she has a devoted following called the RihNavy, or simply Navy, who worship her so much they even tattoo her face on their bodies (yikes!)
Rih is now venturing into another project: a biographical documentary. Of course it won’t be your average run of the mill documentary because, well, it’s Rihanna. The doc will be directed by her Battleship director Peter Berg and will be heavily inspired by the famed Bob Dylan documentary Don’t Look Back, showing an “unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon,” as Berg told Deadline. Berg says the project will be “much more a character study than a music film.”
While we’ll wait to see the doc before predicting a review, we can say this much: this project is gonna make millions. Rihanna is, after all, a modern day Midas. It’s no surprise though…we have to admit we’re all quite curious to see how bad the badgal truly is.
