Live Below the Line Kicks off at Milk Gallery
Despite taking place on Friday the 13th, only good luck was spread throughout the Milk Gallery, which played host to the kickoff of the Live Below the Line campaign. A fundraising initiative by the Global Poverty Project, an outreach of Global Citizen, Live Below the Line challenges those participating to feed themselves on a stipend of only $1.50 a day during its awareness week, April 27th-May 1st. Some of this year’s participants include House of Cards actress Rachel Brosnahan and Gotham actress Erin Richards, who were on hand to ring in this year’s campaign. Speeches were delivered from Global Poverty Project CEO Hugh Evans and its director Justine Lucas, and guests were serenaded by the DJ-ing of Brendan Fallis and Hannah Bronfman, making for an all around superb evening for a good cause. Browse our gallery of the night’s highlights, and be sure and stay tuned for the project’s awareness week next month!
