Full House Just Got a Whole Lot Fuller
The return of crop tops, snapbacks, tattoo chokers and mom jeans are all proof that the 90s are making a comeback, but 90s nostalgia isn’t limited to the fashion world anymore. Last year we saw the premiere of Boy Meets World‘s spinoff series Girl Meets World, and next year, we anticipate the return of Twin Peaks, but it doesn’t end there. Apparently, Full House, the comedy that gave the Olsen twins their start, is due for a 13-episode long revival season that will air exclusively on Netflix.
The rumored name of the project is Fuller House and the show is set to star eldest Tanner sibling, DJ (Candace Cameron), and her best friend, the goofy, gawky and lovable Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber). Uncle Jessie, who is still as hunky as ever, is even signed on to produce the show, alongside the show’s original creator Jeff Franklin.
Bob Saget, John Stamos and Dave Coulier, who starred as DJ’s father and two uncles, were last seen together in that Superbowl commercial and are reported to guest star on the show. There’s no word yet on whether Mary-Kate and Ashley will appear on the show, but we certainly hope so.
Although we can’t technically travel back in time to relive the 90s, we’re glad Full House can bring the 90s to us.
