Remember that time you were the new kid at Catholic school and that bad-ass girl gang of witches asked you to join the crew? How about the time that guy fell in love with you and you had to battle against the forces of evil to break a curse that’d lead to his death? Well, bring out your wands and broomsticks. Also make sure to create a voodoo doll of him before he does it to you. As a matter of fact, stick to meeting men who are real and not possible reincarnations of the devil. Then you two can sit down and watch this movie which will make your head spin a million directions. Hey, at least you’ll have eye candy like Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon, and Cher.
This childhood classic keeps you entreated at any age, plus who doesn’t want to see Bette Midler belt "I Put a Spell on You" and Sarah Jessica Paker seduce all the men? This movie is filled with sexual innuendo that goes unappreciated as a child, but watch it now and you’ll laugh at all the things you really did’t understand as a kid. Why does it have to be a virgin lighting the candle? What’s a virgin anyways? All the answer come to you through growing up, and like all things they get better with age, especially this film.
Mix a little bit a comedy, with a pinch of horror, a whole lot of love, stir it together and you’ll get Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman starring as witchy sisters. Initially the plot of this movie seems a bit dark, but darkness makes for the best love stories. There’s also a couple of kooky aunts to keep things light…with their magical margaritas.
Move over Regina George, the Cromwell witches are the real queen bees. Well, much nicer, magical queen bees who fight evil rather than each other. Right when you think life is dull, imagine finding out you come from a long line of super powerful witches and have crazy powers. This classic Disney Channel original movie has everything: action, teen angst, romance, a place where everyone gets along and it’s Halloween every day (Halloweentown, duh), and best of all a family of sassy witches and one lone warlock.
What’s better than three hotties using their witchery to combat the forces of evil? If you’re into wit, lace and dope shit, Charmed is it. The Hailwell sisters (Rose McGowan, Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs) form the power of three to make ass kicking look sweet. Charmed, we’re sure.
