About Last Night: Poppin' Off at the New York Edition
Being in the dining room of the New York EDITION hotel feels like being transported into a smoking room in a prestigious members only club in London. So really there’s no other place that could have been more ideal to drink bottomless flutes of champagne (courtesy of attentive bartenders who would walk around with what seemed like an endless supply of bottles) while listening to Alexandra Richards meticulously DJ the perfect soundtrack to an unforgettable evening.
The party was hosted by Milk Made, Maiyet, and Conscious Commerce (which was being represented by the ridiculously beautiful founders, Olivia Wilde and Babs Burchfield), and was set in three massive wood-paneled rooms of the new hotel – complete with pool tables, bars, and floor to ceiling framed photography. The crowd was a combination of models, artists, skaters, and other notable partygoers, including Michael Avedon, [Jenne Lombardo](http://www.milkmade.com/articles? utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=jenne+lombardo), Alex Chapman, Jonathan Simkhai, Harif Guzman, Johannes Huebl, Phoebe Collings-James, Miles Langford, Thomas Middleditch, and May Kwok.
With the champagne flowing and the beats poppin’, the party went well into the night, making everyone forget that we were still in New York and not Notting Hill. As for that insufferable headache this morning? Blame it on a good time.
