Willow Smith Slays New Marc Jacobs Campaign

Jada-Pinkett and Will Smith have officially produced the coolest kids ever. While Jaden Smith continues to break gender boundaries with his outfits, Willow has been killing the fashion game both in and out of her music videos (see: ‘Fireball’, ‘F Q-C #7’, and literally anything she’s ever done). On Thursday, Marc Jacobs announced that she will star in the label’s Fall/Winter ’15 campaign (shot by power house David Sims and styled by the one and only Katie Grand) alongside the goddess of all that is sequins and fabulous Cher.

The designer revealed on his Instagram, “I have always preferred collaborating with the people who inspire me to give new life to the clothes we show on our runway.” And he doesn’t care about Willow and Cher’s age, “Beauty, style and talent know no age.”

Smith will be the latest to join the growing list of iconic women photographed for the brand. Past faces include Victoria Beckham, Dakota Fanning, Kim Gordon and Kate Moss. Despite her young age – Willow is only 14 and cooler than most humans – she’s no stranger to the fashion world. Last year she was styled by Karl Lagerfeld on a photoshoot for V Magazine. She and Jaden also have their own clothing line, MSFTSrep. This campaign only seems like a logical next step to secure her early fashion icon status.

Since the release of her groovy and stylish new music video last month, ‘F Q-C #7’, the 14 year old has been slaying 2015. We’ve had our eye on Willow since she showed us how to whip our hair back and forth, and if this year is proof of anything is that she’s just getting started.
