4 Pieces from Lil Yachty's Nautica Collection You Actually Need
On the heels of his Urban Outfitters x Nautica collab, Lil Yachty is back at it with another collection, this time honoring classic, beloved Nautica designs with just the right amount of his personal taste peppered in (if this sounds like the ultimate matchup, it is). That’s not the only thing this rapper is celebrating, though—along with it, Lil Yachty has also been named one of the brand’s 2017 creative designers. You heard that right: in addition to making music, designing clothes, and starring in Cam Kirk’s ATL billboard ads, Lil Yachty will also have a hand in Nautica capsule collections, and appear in the digital and social ad campaigns for the brand.
If it wasn’t obvious already, to say that he’s “busy” is the understatement of the year. See for yourself—peep the capsule collection’s promo vid, then window shop our favorite picks below.
The most obvious must-have is, of course, the bucket hat. It’s one of Lil Yachty’s most consistent statement pieces, and as such, a capsule collection with his favorite brand just wouldn’t be complete without it. Quarter Zip Fleece
Who doesn’t love a cozy piece of fleece to shield your torso from the arctic tundra that is January in NYC? Zip it right up to your neck and you might just stay warm all winter (no promises, though).
The easiest way to get your hands on something—anything!—from Lil Yachty’s collection is unsurprisingly, the tee. Though it’s not the cheapest item in his collection (that award goes to the bucket hat, a surprising $35 versus this tee’s $48), it’s the most universally flattering/practical item you can own. Luxury Cashmere Sweater
A departure from Lil Yachty’s usual wardrobe (though this could potentially coordinate quite well with red hair beads…), this luxury knit is perfect for those partial to classic, timeless pieces. Available in navy and red.Images via The Fader and Nautica
