Paris Couture Recap: Versace, Dior + More!
Talk about Haute! The weather is heating up and so are the designs blazing the runways at Paris Couture. Fresh off the menswear shows, the couture collections show that they are not to be out-shined (literally). Bertrand Guyon’s debut collection for Schiaparelli went for the baroque gold, while Versace sprinkled her romantic frayed gowns with sparkling elvish dust, channeling Cate Blanchett and Liv Tyler circa Lord of the Rings. Meanwhile at Dior, Raf Simons created the perfect every-day/every-occasion collection, while the guys at Viktor & Rolf reminded us why they’re the kings of sartorial surrealism.
Stay tuned for more coverage to come, and while you’re at it catch up on the menswear collections
