Chance the Rapper x Lil B Album is Happening #TYBG

Chance the Rapper’s collab repertoire has been on fleek as of late, and it’s about to get a lot more based with his latest project. He’ll be working alongside Bay Area legend, Lil B. Both of the rappers broke the news on their Instagram accounts this weekend and set social media ablaze.

Following their Insta post, the MCs took to Snapchat to show off what they’ve been cooking up in the studio. Chance quells any doubt about the legitimacy of this ‘based freestyle album by ensuring fans that “this is not a joke.” while Lil B gives a shout out to the ladies for inspiring his unmistakable swag. When the Acid Rapper and Based God tell you what’s up, they ain’t playin’.

Chance has been putting in some serious work recently. This past Sunday, the Chicago rapper headlined at the Pitchfork Music Festival and earlier this year released Surf, a debut album with Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment, which received rave reviews. He has also announced two more future projects with both Kanye West and Childish Gambino so expect fire from the acid trippin’ rapper as the year unfolds. He’s assembling the Hip-Hop Justice League that the Internet never knew it needed.

Lil B has been equally as busy. Whether it be endorsing presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, on Twitter; casting curses on the Cleveland Cavaliers; releasing an endless stream of mixtapes; or just generally oozing swag, the Based God’s work is never done. The California rapper has become an Internet cult leader with over 1 million followers on Twitter. In 2012 he released an 855-song mixtape completely for free.

Only time will tell if this link up will produce bangers, but for now slap your hands together into the prayer hands emoji and tweet out a TYBG for this based duo.
