Voices Against ViolenceWhat: Eileen Fisher is hosting “Voices Against Violence,” a femme-powering program presented by UN Women, the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women. The event is aimed at educating young audiences of boys and girls on constructing respectful relationships, quashing the gender binary, challenging destructive social norms and encouraging leadership. Additionally, 10% of all sales at Eileen Fisher’s SoHo location will be donated to UN Women programing.

Friday, April 28 – The Fight for Abortion Rights in the Trump EraWhat: NYC for Abortion Rights is hosting a discussion panel that will confront the recent dangers abortion rights have been facing since its legalization in 1973. With a presidential promise to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s risk of losing its pro-choice rights has never been greater, so stand in solidarity for abortion rights alongside a panel of lawyers, doctors and organization leaders.

Saturday, April 29 – People’s Climate MarchWhat: Possibly the biggest social injustice of all is the mistreatment of our planet, Mother Earth, and the effects it has on our climate. Much like other causes we fight for, the US’ current administration has brought threat upon our climate, sustainability and the environment, and with those, humanity. Saturday is a call to stand up for the rights of humankind in a march that demands acknowledgment of climate change and the effects it will take on every one’s lives should we not take action.

When: 10:00AM – 3:00PM

Where: Washington D.C., starting at the front of the Capitol
