4/3/17: Your Weekly Activist Events Roundup

The inaugural week of April has arrived and with it, true Spring weather. And with that, you’ve guessed it… more events to channel your voice and demand your rights. This week we bring forth everything from street rallies and protests to a chichi fundraising fashion show. The options are endless, but we’ve put together our own weekly roundup with events you should all be adding to your cal. Take a peak at the list below.

Monday, April 3: Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2017What: Dubbing itself the unofficial “kick-off” to the LGBT fundraising season, you know that the Jeffrey Fashion Cares auction benefit and runway show have you in for a good time and a good cause. This philanthropic night of fashion will be raising money for three LBGT charities: Elton John AIDS Foundation, Lambda Legal, and the Hetrick-Martin Institute. Though it is tonight, there are still last minute tickets available here. We know they’re pricey, but think about all that good karma. Side note, it’s being held on a US Navy Ship…
