5/1/17: Your Weekly Activist Events Roundup

Today, we welcome the month of May with great embrace and a list of political events, protests, rallies and fundraisers to add a little purpose to your start to Summer.

Daily Actions:

Call your representative at (844) 241-1141 and demand that we see the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) estimate of the new healthcare bill’s impact before they vote on the legislation. Last time around, the CBO estimate revealed that 24 million people would lose their coverage within ten years. This time they are trying to jam the bill through before the estimates can be completed and released. What you don’t know CAN hurt you.
