MILK ARTIST | BRADLEY EDWARDS
Milk’s newest artist Bradley Edwards specializes in creating intricately detailed sketches of visually engaging cartoons. The inspiration for his style stems from turn of the century illustrators like Arthur Rackham and Gustave Dore, though the additional influence of modern indie comic artists brings a contemporary edge to his artwork. His most recent designs often incorporate traditional Celtic and Nordic symbols into his expressive illustrations.
Brad recently finished creating the album art for Never Shout Never‘s new album Time Travel, scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Records this fall. His art was selected for the complete look of the band’s campaign, and his stylized images can be found on everything the band is releasing, from videos and posters to t-shirts. Brad originally cut his teeth generating images for the clothing brand Black Chandelier, and his background mixed with his composition renders him a skillful merchandise designer.
Currently residing in Brooklyn, Edwards is now developing a comic book titled House of Carnation that he plans to self publish later this year. We’re pumped to be working with such a talented artist, and look forward to collaborating with him in the future.
