7/24/17: Your Weekly Activist Events Roundup

Only a daunting day away from the Senate’s vote on a healthcare bill that threatens millions, particularly women and the LGBTQ community; though our unfaltering activism has stood up a great fight. While that battle comes to an end tomorrow, many others still require our persistence. To shed light on those matters, we come equipped again with a week of activist events and actions for you to partake in.

Daily Action

“CALL OUT THE SO-CALLED GOP ‘MODERATES'”

Call (844) 241-1141 to confront the GOP Senators who claim to support a bipartisan effort towards the healthcare push, yet who stay quiet on proposing a bill to vote on next week. Dial up the Senators to “tell them that if they actually want public hearings, a bill working through committee process, and a legitimately bipartisan effort—they should be starting that now.” The wavering Senators are as listed: Murkowski (AK); Sullivan (AK); Cassidy (LA); Graham (SC); Capito (WV); Alexander (TN); Collins (ME). To receive Daily Action alerts, text DAILY to 228466.
