Gregory Parkinson Photos

All was lace at the Gregory Parkinson presentation at The Standard this afternoon. The new collection, which featured sumptuous layers of embroidered lace, tattered featherweight fabrics, and grandma knits in antique beige, was a study in shabby-chic elegance. An avid collector of fabrics, Parkinson acquired the lace almost a decade ago. "I was always afraid to use them," Parkinson told MilkMade during the presentation, "but when I started working on this collection, I knew it was finally time." Delicate, dangling earrings from Ten Thousand Things provided perfect accents for the collection, and model Maria Durruthy was a face to watch. Photos: Jessie Adler, powered by Leica Camera.
