What: elrow Basel Edition

When: Thursday, December 6

Where: STORY Nightclub

Why it’s dope:  First off, the family behind the global party brand, elrow, has been creating amazing events for almost 150 years (like whoa). That’s a whole lot of partying and it’s completely obvi that they know how to throw an amazing soiree. Making its Art Basel debut, elrow is bringing the Rowmuda Triangle – inspired by the mysteries behind the Bermuda Triangle – to Miami with the theme, “The Party of Eternal Happiness.” Partygoers can expect to be part of the show seriously. Click here to get a taste of the forthcoming madness. Nic Fanciulli, Acid Mondays, Tini Gessler and Bastian Bux, plus special guests will dish out the live soundtrack for this immersive experience.

What: Sleeping Beauty Dreams

When: Friday, December 7-Saturday, December 8

Where: Ziff Ballet Opera House

Why it’s dope: We’re all familiar with the story of Sleeping Beauty. However, have you ever wondered what the princess was dreaming about when she slept for 100 years? With our curiosity completely engaged, we’re eager to catch the world premiere of this fully immersive contemporary art installation. Featuring an all-star cast that includes international prima ballerina Diana Vishneva (Princess Aurora) and Tony Award nominee Desmond Richardson (Prince Peter) with music composed by DJ/producer trio NOISIA, Sleeping Beauty Dreams sounds like something that, well, dreams are made of.

What: Will Clarke + SIAN present: AMOK

When: Saturday, December 8

Where: Magic City Innovation District

Why it’s dope: We’re completely here for the launches of that new-new at Art Basel. DJ/producers Sian and Will Clarke are unveiling a new project called AMOK. Sian’s tantalizing techno beats combined with Clarke’s hypnotic dark house stylings make AMOK an act we’re itching to hear from and catch live. Their set is tying in with multiple live art installations to include “Art Takes Miami” by artists, a showcase by fractal artist Julius Horsthuis and visual dome shows by Liquid Light Lab and VJ Psyberpixie.
