9 Dope Runway Looks from NYFW (Pt. I)
Fashion Week is almost over, and a lot has gone down—both at MADE New York and at the occasional offsite show. There’s been straight-up fencing, a reptilian mermaid, appearances from Snoop (sort of), and some floor-length hair situations, and we’re here for it all. Here’s a peek at our favorite looks thus far.
We all love a tasteful sideboob, and Barragán took peekaboo chic to the next level with sheer everything for optimal derrière baring. This is indeed a see-through shirt skirt.
3. ECKHAUS LATTA
4. ADAM SELMAN
The only thing better than 69‘s graphic, denim heavy offerings are 69’s graphic, denim-heavy offerings on a celebrity impersonator. The anonymous, L.A. based designer served very real Prince nostalgia, and needless to say, we’re obsessed with this three-piece situation.
7. GENTLE MONSTER
As if a live fencing competition in the middle of fashion week wasn’t enough to keep our attention, Gentle Monster’s all white, structured tops stole the show under neon blue lights, though the shades remained the true focus of each look.
8. PARSONS MFA
TFW you free the nipple in a swoon-worthy, sheer, gauzy top.
Kanye-approved Ottolinger‘s dreamy deconstruction was a sight to behold. This look, among the most tattered, stole the show…and yes, that’s packing tape wrapped around her boots and a floor-length braid snaking its way around one.
