Here Comes The Neighborhood - Episode 7

Episode 7 of Here Comes The Neighborhood, a short documentary series that focuses on the revitalization of a Wynwood Art District through the Wynwood Walls project, focuses on photographer Martha Cooper. Martha has played a huge role in legitimizing graffiti by documenting the street art culture since it’s early days underground.

She has visited the Wynwood Walls since its infancy in 2009 and has since photographed the biggest names in street art as they stop through Wynwood to add their personal touch to the walls of the neighborhood.

In this insightful interview Martha talks about her feelings on what it’s like to be around what some consider to be “the biggest art movement in the history of the world” as well as the growth she has seen in graffiti and street art in the last 30 years.
