A Look Back at The Women's March on Washington
Saturday’s unprecedented turnout and unparalleled scope proved one thing true: the resistance is ready to fucking battle, and if it wanted to send a message on day one of the Trump era, consider the mission a success. With over 3.3 million women (and men) marching in over 500 cities nationwide (over 500,000 of those in Washington, D.C. alone), it’s been made abundantly clear: we will not go down without a fight.
Looking ahead, march organizers are now seeking out ways to translate Saturday’s success into tangible political gains in Washington. For now, peep the slideshow above from an inside look at the Million Women March. Here’s hoping the momentum continues to pick up speed in the coming weeks and months of 2K17 (and potentially the next four years).
