About Last Night: #HOTMESS Takes Over Milk Gallery
Last night, Milk Gallery was stoked to kick off NYFW with emerging creatives for the opening of #HOTMESS, a collaboration of photos by artistic director Luka Sabbat and photographer Noah Dillon. The young globe trotters captured images of their friends and their experiences over the past two years, accompanied with writer Curtis Eggleston. The trio put their heads together to create some fire and acted as modern day Marcel Duchamps, testing the norms of the art world. Tying in fashion, the pink “Woman” book (decked in glitter) was also on display to show off the visionary duo’s styling and photography skills for Virgil Abloh’s Off-White women’s wear collection.
All in all, the night was hype, as guests held their champagne glasses in awe of the vibrant imagery surrounding them. New York’s finest came through to show our boys some love; in addition to high profile VIP’s Tyler, The Creator, hip hop mogul Pusha T, A$AP Mob members A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg were also in attendance, along with model Adriana Mora. It was a social media haven, and the #HOTMESS hashtag had Instagram and Twitter buzzing as attendees seized the moment of millennial culture en mass.
#HOTMESS will be on view only until February 11 at Milk Gallery. For a full visual recap of last night’s opening, peep the slideshow above.
