About Last Night: Joey Bada$$ Drops 'All-Amerikkkan Bada$$' Album
While Milk Events and its list of attendees recover from last night’s launch of Joey Bada$$’s new album, All-Amerikkkan Bada$$, we’ve recapped the banger for those of you who missed it. In case it’s not clear enough in our gallery of pictures, we will sum it up in three letters: L-I-T. While “listening party,” puts forth a nice sentiment of cozy intimacy, don’t get it twisted. The event was more like a massive concert with a proper stage, two open bars and a parked car in the middle of the space—actually, the very same car as the one featured in the new album’s cover.
Partygoers danced, mingled and turned the fuck up as soon as Joey Bada$$ hit the stage. A dope performance was expected, but he delivered all that and then some. The stage, dressed in neon hues of pink and purple was surrounded by masses of Milk fam as Joey Bada$$ performed hits from the newly released 12-track album.
As the clock struck midnight, guests headed one of two ways: home to get their shit together or the JamRoom to keep the party rocking. Many, of course, filed their way into the after party space alongside the high spirits and good vibes. The best and only way to put it is that last night was the truest representation of “bada$$,” what the rapper and his album are all about manifested into a legendary party.
Stay tuned to Milk for more on our events and bangers.
