Adidas Drops Limited Edition Retro Sneaker
Continuing its stream of iconic releases, Adidas has just dropped its latest limited-edition sneaker. This time, it has resurrected the custom shoe created exclusively for Steve Zissou, legendary character in Wes Anderson’s hit 2004 movie The Life Aquatic.
Among the Back to the Future Nike MAGs and the Do the Right Thing Air Jordan 4s, this blue-striped, yellow-laced adidas Rom is one of a small few truly iconic movie sneakers.
A mere 100 pairs were sold exclusively in Paris at the We Love Green festival. Why there? Because Brazilian musician Seu Jorge, who’s music was featured throughout the film’s soundtrack, was headlining at the festival. How convenient. Inconvenient, however, for us sneaker-lovers across the pond.
No word yet on whether this dope retro runner is set to be more widely released, but we’ll keep you updated.
