Alexa Chung Doesn't Want to Hear Your FW Complaints [NYFW]
Spotting Alexa Chung front row during Fashion Week, while certainly nothing new, is nonetheless exciting—and particularly when said sighting happens at the Adam Selman show at MADE New York. Wearing a silver slip dress by the designer, which she paired with her characteristic ear-to-ear smile, the Brit fashion vet and TV personality was a joy as usual—and honestly quite relatable! We we were able to snag her for a very quick, and kind of hot, minute, in which she aired some extremely valid grievances and reminded us why we love her so much.
You look amazing! Is that Adam Selman?
Yes, it is!
How’s your Fashion Week going so far?
What do you like the most about Adam Selman?
Well I like him in a personal lens as well; he’s very, very charismatic and funny and I think that shows in his collections that he makes. They’re humorous, they’re interesting, and they represent youth culture. I think he’s kind of of the moment and quite dynamic in the context of New York Fashion Week. It’s nice to see something that’s slightly more daring and that has street style edge.
Awesome! I totally agree. And how do you get through Fashion Week?
Well I don’t really have that much to go to. I’m very grateful I get invited to shows and I’m taking it easy this year, so it’s enjoyable. I hate reading when people complain about Fashion Week. It’s like, shut up, you could be in an office not doing this.
