An Exclusive Glimpse into the Hilarious 'The Trill World: A3C'
After 32 seasons of the Real World, we now have a keen understanding of what happens when seven strangers, all thrown into a house, stop being polite and start getting real. And to be honest, it’s just never been quite as hellacious, debaucherous, or fun to watch since the first season (barring of course The Real World: Las Vegas—lookin’ at you, Trishelle). And it seems we’re not the only ones to notice this; for this year’s 12th annual A3C festival—you know, the hip-hop centric festival and conference that acts as a platform to reach and interact with the influential organizations, leaders, and artists in the hip-hop community?—A3C teamed up with Rushcard and Lugz on a ‘90s hip-hop-tinged Real World parody to help promote the festival.
Featuring such artists as Sonny Digital, BOSCO, Gitoo, Brittany Sky, Ian Isiah, London Zhiloh, FRKO, Curtis Williams, and KieraPlease (to name a few), the aptly named The Trill World specifically parodies the 1992 pilot season of the Real World—and from the looks of the trailer, makes for endless entertainment.
Expect confessionals, glasses worn inside, really good dancing, and a swelling sense of FOMO. Get a peep of what’s to come in the trailer below, and then browse the above photos for an inside glimpse into the The Trill World.
