Caitlyn Jenner Is Starring In The New H&M Sport Campaign
Caitlyn Jenner: Olympic gold medalist, amateur transgender activist, and…model? Well, if she keeps up at this rate, she might land as many campaigns as her daughter Kendall.
Last night, Jenner announced that she is the face of the new H&M Sport campaign by tweeting a behind-the-scenes photo from the shoot. The news follows her collaboration with MAC on a lipstick, aptly titled Finally Free, which benefits the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative. “This is who I am,” she said of the project. “Finally Free.”

A spokesman for the Swedish retailer told WWD, “For H&M it is important to show diversity and a range of personalities in everything we do. We have picked Caitlyn Jenner, one of the world’s most celebrated athletes, as part of this H&M Sports campaign because we want to illustrate that everything is possible—in sports and in life. It is a collection of performance sportswear made to celebrate individuality and self-belief.”
H&M’s choice for the campaign follows their diverse fashion show for the H&M Studio line in Paris earlier this month, which featured models of various sizes, ages, and gender identities.
In addition to the new H&M campaign, Caitlyn has also found herself mired in a bit of controversy over recent comments she made. On her E! docu-series I Am Cait, she said that Donald Trump would be great for women’s issues. And no, this is not a joke—even though we really wish it was.
First, she wants to be Ted Cruz’s transgender ambassador, and now this. Cait, we love you and want to stand with you, but any support of Donald Trump’s stance on women’s issues is a no-no in our book. You are a better woman than this. Please reconsider.
Love always, Milk.
