Drool Over The Miu Miu Archival Pieces You Can Actually Buy Now
We all have those moments where we want that uber expensive coat or pair of shoes more than Aaron Carter wants Hilary Duff back, but we can’t justify paying three months of rent to up our wardrobe game. So we settle for saving the money, spending zilch on general necessities like food to make our dreams come true, only for clothes to sell out before we can get our hands on them. Then we drown ourselves in greasy pizza and Milk Bar cookies to soothe our sorrows (or is that just me?). But for lucky Miu Miu aficionados, you have another chance to get those coveted pieces–if you act fast.
The influential fashion brand brought back ghosts from seasons past and reissued select pieces from their archives to celebrate their short film series, Women’s Tales. The throwback garments span from the brand’s Spring 2011 collection to the most recent Spring 2016 collection, and are being sold exclusively at the brand’s 57th Street boutique in New York.
The store’s third floor has been transformed into a mini-retrospective to show off the archived pieces, and it looks beyond incredible. According to Vogue, you’re greeted by those glitter booties by Fall 2011, also known as God, and go on to a dreamland of Miu Miu classics you never thought you’d see again. Intricate whimsical minidresses are displayed on mannequins and paired with bold contrasting boots, and layered capes are somehow look sleek. It’s bags, shoes, and jackets galore in the shop, and it’s all available to buy. Provided you’ve got those sugar daddy fundz, of course.
The archive collection is available now, and but it will only be on sale at 11 East 57th Street through May 8th. Leave work before other bitches get the chance. Just do it.
