Exclusive: Move To Renewables Movement Feature Film
Last month we sat down with Jessica Jones to get a behind the scenes look at her collaborative anti-DAPL art project with Hugo Arturi, which brought together NYC influencers to take a stand against the Dakota Access Pipeline. Her movement, Move To Renewables, expands beyond DAPL, however—to issues of environmental protection around the world, including Canada, Australia, and, of course, the US.
We’re stoked to have Jones back today to premiere their feature film exclusively on Milk, as it’s now more important than ever to practice continued awareness and activism.
“It’s these moments in time when we’re asking for community help to gain relevance—that we need everyone to take action,” she says. “We need to band together as one. The health of our planet depends on it.”
Feeling (understandably) called to action? Donald Trump is attempting to exempt the Dakota Access Pipeline from a full environmental review. If you want to add your voice to the opposition, do so by submitting a comment here (deadline February 20).
