Last fall, the Knocks toured Europe with Justin Bieber; peep this exclusive 35 mm photo diary of life on the road.

Exclusive: Photos From Life On The Road With The Knocks

Justin Bieber needs no introduction (interpret that as you will), but that’s not to say he’s exempt from touring alongside other groups, and when he does, only the best are chosen. Enter The Knocks: electronic music duo B-roc (Ben Ruttner) and JPatt (James Patterson). When their debut album 55 dropped in March of last year, it wasn’t long before Bieber got in touch, and the rest, as they say, is history (and by that we mean, a two-month all-out Bieber-fever tour, never to be forgotten).

“We were in so many incredible cities and countries in such a quick time, it was hard to not want to take photos of everything,” said Ben, who coincidently photographed the entire trip. “The tour was a once in a lifetime experience and these photos really only capture a fraction of the magic.”

And the tour itself? Unforgettable might just be the perfect word.

“We had the pleasure of bringing some friends as guests vocalists out to sing with us at a couple shows including Phoebe Ryan, Dagny, and Julie Bergan,” said Ben. “Bieber’s whole crew was really welcoming and cool with us. Almost every night Justin’s DJ, Tay James, would do an afterparty in the city we were in and we’d go out and get loose.”

Two months and 13 rolls of film later, The Knocks are back on this side of the pond, and making serious waves on their home turf; with a brand-new EP set to drop on February 3, titled Testify, and a recently-released “Trouble” single featuring Absofacto out now (peep it below), they’ve got their hands full, to say the least. If you’re already looking to their next tour, you’re in luck—dates have already been announced, and we’ve included them below. Word to the wise—get your tickets now (while you still can). Trust us.
