Fashion Killa A$AP Rocky Collaborates With Guess

Not shy to the fashion scene, A$AP Rocky teamed up with Guess to create a nostalgic ’90s inspired clothing line. When discussing the collection with Pret-a-Reporter, the rapper said, “I wanted to give kids today knowledge of what Guess meant to hip-hop and the urban community in the nineties and late eighties.”

The collection includes a lot of denim on denim, or “Canadian tuxedos” if you will, and sailor-striped shirts adorned with the Guess logo. Naturally, the S’s are swapped out for Rocky’s trademark money sign, but you won’t be dropping all your cash on this collection. The collection starts at $34, which is a great deal considering the fashion killa has teamed up with big names with big price tags in the past, like Raf Simons. The rapper didn’t stop at creating clothes. He also designed an entire grungy basement installation at New York’s OpenHouse event space to showcase them. The mock-hangout-spot included old school Nintendo games, cassette tapes, and disposable camera prints up on the wall. (My invitation must’ve gotten lost in the mail.)

The 29 pieces will be available for pre-sale at Opening Ceremony and other select retailers, but will officially drop on the Guess site on February 16th.

Stay tuned to Milk for more fashion killas.
