The Victorian era gets in touch with its softer side.

Runway Rundown: Brock Collection Gets Scrambled

Opening MADE Fashion Week on a high note, Brock Collection’s latest offering takes Marie Antoinette’s affinity for opulence and grounds it firmly in the 21st century.

The Look Lowdown…

Victorian with a bit of Hugh Hefner’s flair for boudoir dressing. Trim corseted waists, rich fabrics, sumptuous knits, and a hint of sparkle. And of course, there was denim.

The Look That Gave Us Life…

Brock takes on the tuxedo: a slim cut two-piece suit with a plunging neckline. Because it’s more fun to be the badass than the belle of the ball.

Adding to Our Shopping List…

It’s all about the smoking slipper. No longer reserved for the house, these velvet steppers will take you from the bedroom straight to the bar where you can order your dirty martini shaken, not stirred.

We Can’t Wait To Wear This…

To a cocktails and caviar shindig. Does anyone have those anymore? They should. Picture us wearing one of their slinky silk dresses, reclining on a chaise lounge, eating caviar from a tiny spoon.

The Song Picks We Had to Shazam…

Mellow tracks that nodded to their Southern California roots. A standout was the ‘90s throwback “Anemone” by The Brian Jonestown Massacre.
